about 6 months ago i got a LG N2B1D NAS because i had a huge discount for it, got it for 150$ and i needed something as i was switching from a desktop to a laptop for my main computer.
i knew it was not the best but needed something in a pinch. well now i am ready to move on because honestly the thing is too slow for me.
i use mine for storing/streaming all my files, photo, video, music etc.. the standard crap
i have been circling the Synology but not sure what i should be looking for. i would like is that it is faster then what i have, two bay, can do JBOD and it would be nice if it could read/backup to an SDHC or SDXC
