Migrating from one model to another (import settings)

Hi

Is't possible to import settings from a RT-N66U to a RT-AC68U - or do I need to do settings again manuel?

I know the backup config feature, but is't advisable to use from one model to another.

I would certainly not do that, manual config is the way to go .

There was a post here a few months back where someone was in a mess because they imported settings from a different model.

The easier way is to use John's NVRAM Save/Restore tool with the migrate option...
Still not sure that all settings get transferred, but most of them should work!
