Moving from Optware to Entware....

pretty much. you can just rename that directory just in case you need to go back.

The other way around. Remove all traces of Optware before you install Entware.

As I said, delete the asusware folder BEFORE you install Entware.

Rebooting between the two operations is probably required. Beyond that, nothing special really. Don't forget that Entware uses opkg and not ipkg.
