Multiple OpenVPN clients?

Hello,
I just found out that the RT-AC68U asuswrt does not support running more than one Open VPN client (cannot start 2)...
question: will Merlin allow it ?
I also read that Merlin improves speed for VPN, does this apply to OpenVPN clients ?

Yes you can run multiple VPN clients with Merlin. Generally speaking VPN speeds will be roughly the same but there are certain scenarios where throughput might be better with Merlin.
