Multiroom Audio on Alexa doesn't work

I noticed that my Multiroom Audio (playing same audio simultaneously on Alexa speakers) doesn't work when I have the Alexa's on a guest SSID & not allowed to access intranet.

If I take them off the guest SSID, the multiroom audio works as advertised.

Any way around this on Merlin?

They have to talk to each other to work in the multiroom audio mode.
