My RT-N66U doesn't reboot automatically after a power failure

My RT-N66U doesn't reboot automatically anymore after a power failure. Use to do so in the past. I'm using RT-N66U_3.0.0.4_374.38_1, but this problem began many months ago. How can I correct this issue. I have to restart my router manually each time after a power failure.

do you experience a lot of power failures? is the router on a surge protector? i have a feeling you may need to get that replaced.

Usually no, but since Christmas, the electric power went down quite a few times where I live because of the bad weather (Ice storm). In the past, my router used to automatically restart by itself when the electric power get back, not anymore.
