Hi,
I have been having some issues for some to time now, I dont want to put you all to sleep with the story.
But basically I just need some help with some commands to reset my device to factory stock.
I have really no knowledge with telnet / putty. As far as what I have tried is the following.
Reset router externally ( reset button / recovery mode / firmware reinstall ) also done a telnet/putty login and did a clear nvram command.
But still experiencing the same issues, but it might be coming from another source, but I want to eleminate all potential threats to give a bit of peace of mind.
Could anyone with the experience with the telnet/putty let me know the commands to do a full factory reset on the device please ? I have tried to figure it out with google but I feel as if I have not done it correctly and prolly getting it from users in here is best I would think. I read something about a possibility that if commands were written on JFFS that even with resets and such anything on there can still be in effect, would this be the case on a N55U also ?
And out of curiosity if my device under my knowledge has always been stock firmware with no tinkering unless it was via webgui, would the nvram logs show the term " br0 " at all ?
