N66u 374.43 update help

Hi

I'm currently on merlin firmware 374.43, thinking of updating as I've missed quite a few releases I think.

I have an Asus n66u, I'm just wondering what you guys suggest I update to, should I update to the beta or a stable release, if so which version as I've not been following this thread for ages!

Also should I do a full reset after updating, or will it be fine without, even though I've missed a few releases?

Basically should I update to the stable release 376.49 or the 378.50 beta2 ?

And do I need to do a reset.

I would update to: 376.49_5 Not only for bug fixes but major security fixes. Or wait a little until 378.50 comes out of beta.

You should do a factory reset after update.

thanks for the reply, I was just thinking it might be better to wait for the beta to become a stable release.

I can understand a reset would be wise this time as I've skipped a few releases.
