I have the latest Asus firmware installed and I'm wondering if it's possible to enable a local DNS server to resolve names on the LAN? In particular I'd like to give the router (192.168.2.1) a local name to make accessing the USB drive on the LAN much simpler, e.g. "\\asus" rather than "\\192.168.2.1".
I have a feeling I'll need a 3rd party firmware (Merlin) to do this, but before I upgrade I wanted to be sure there's not a way to implement this using the stock firmware. Thanks!
