N66U not getting external IP from RG Uverse Modem

At one point I had this same issue and I read somewhere how to get the N66 obtain a external IP from my uverse rg router. I dont remember how I did it but for a while everything was fine. Now once again the N66u is only getting a internal ip address.

I tried putting the rg in router behind router mode and still nothing. Power cycled everything several time and still no go.

What else can be done other then getting rid of uverse?

Im also running the latest merlin build..

To get external IP on my n66u, I set it to DMZ+ mode at the RG. It's under Settings -> Firewall -> Applications, Pinholes, DMZ on my RG.

Did that and confirmed several times.
