NAS with usb or firewire

Hi all,

just wondering if anyone knows of any NAS unit that also connects to a client via usb or firewire?

I've only got a 100mb lan running with 1mac (for video/music editing) and 1laptop. I also have 3 media players which stream from my thecus 2900 unit at the moment. I want to replace this with a new unit with additional space but I want to hook the mac to it via usb/firewire.

any ideas?

Some LaCies support simultaneous connection via USB and network via Ethernet.
LaCie Ethernet Disk mini V2
LaCie Ethernet Big Disk

Don't know of any that support simultaneous firewire connection.
