Nat type symmetric vs fullcone

Recently purchased an AX86U, very happy with it using flexqos for gaming on virgin media.
Just wondering if there are any benefits changing to fullcone over symmetric Nat type and the difference between the two?

Full cone seems to work better for games and undetermined port usage. With Symmetric I always have to setup portforwards more often where necessary.
