need help on modem choice

i have comcast blast internet so i sgg6580 modem so i was told to get separate modem and wifi router
so not sure what best options .....

So comcast does not give you a free modem, Spectrum does. I would start with their modem and see if I can buy one that works better. I am sure comcast has an approved modem list.

yea comcast gave me one i was wanting my own setup to save mothly fees
