OK I am extremely disappointed in this router. I have had nothing but problems. I am currently running firmware 3.0.0.4.374_130. I have run merlins fw from 24 all the way thru 32 beta 3.. I am not really sure what has changed it used to work fine with the occasional drop out. I am computer literate but not really when it comes to the router and what or how to configure it properly for optimize results. I have metageek inSSIDer 3 home version on my windows PC. I also have iphone, ipad Imac. The only device I have wired directily to the router is the imac. insidder show no overlapping signals its max rate for both the 2.4 and 5 band show 450.

I just ran speetest.net with bismol results ping is 87 registers .02 Mbps download and o upload on the 5 ghtz band. the fw is stock I have not done any changes except change the name of the SSID and password.

the Signal on the SSIDDER for the 2.4 band is -25 and for the 5 is -44.

I have restarted all my computers and still nothing.

Please help I wil take any and all suggetions.

Ps when I first dowloaded merlines 31 fw it was fast rock solid and never droped a connection. Then 2 days later the it started dropping the internet all the time.

Post a log section showing what happens when the Internet connection drops.

I am extremely disappointed in this router.
Disappointed? I'm afraid you won't be able to find anything better except ASUS ARM-based routers (RT-AC68U which is yet unreleased).
