The guest network pro instances have their own MAC filter that can be enabled. Is there anyway to have a separate MAC white list on main wireless network and guest network.
Thats correct. But white listing on guest network defies its purpose if i have to white list every guest every timeThe guest network pro instances have their own MAC filter that can be enabled.
Yes i did. Its not a bug i thinkDid you reset the router without restoring any backups after flashing the firmware? The only thing I can think of is old settings interfering.

You ask about a feature then state you don't want to do it that way. What way do you want to do it?Thats correct. But white listing on guest network defies its purpose if i have to white list every guest every time
i just need a white list on main network and a guest network for guests without any filterYou ask about a feature then state you don't want to do it that way. What way do you want to do it?
Do you have Use same subnet as main network enabled on the Guest Network Pro Profile(s)? If so that is probably the cause. Disable Use same subnet as main network and the Guest Network Pro clients should use a separate IP address subnet range independent of the main LAN network.i just need a white list on main network and a guest network for guests without any filter
The problem is that if i enable a whitelist on main network then it applies automatically to guest network also which requires me to white list every guest when they connect to guest network
Not the ‘tech-savvy kid vs router admin’ showdown. Unfortunately, ASUS treats MAC filtering like it's a global border patrol instead of per-network bouncers. If you want true separation, you’ll need VLANs and possibly a router that doesn't treat guest Wi-Fi like a polite suggestion—Merlin’s good, but even it has limits without a more advanced setup configured.Running 3 Wifi Networks on my AX88u Pro. The main wifi network is used by me and other adult family members.
2nd network is for IoT devices.
3rd network is for kids and guests with a few limitations of timing etc.
I want to setup MAC Accept filter on my main network as sometimes a tech savvy kid gets main networks password from some adults phone and connects after kid networks limitations kicks in.
But the problem is that when I enable MAC accept filter on main network, guest network devices are rejected by their respective networks as they are not included in main networks accept list.
Is their a way setup accept list on main network only.
What is the end game? This seems like a complex way to provide your kids protection from bad stuff on the internet, can't you just point their devices to different safe dns servers?Running 3 Wifi Networks on my AX88u Pro. The main wifi network is used by me and other adult family members.
