net-snmp on AC68U problem

I was able to install net-snmp through asusware on the AC68U. It start fine on install. However, after router reboot it cannot start any more and complains that a library is missing. I also had nano installed and it cannot start either again with a missing library. On top of that, the exec path for the entware packages goes missing so I cannot just type nano but I have to type the full path. This seem link a symlink disappearing or something similar. Anyone has an idea how to fix this situation?
