Product Review
I don't remember specifically. But a favorite trick is to hide a screw under the serial # label.
I tried the old "peel off the rubber feet to find screws" trick but nothing was there. It's not possible to be under the label because it is on the bottom of the thin plastic "stand" that juts out from the body and is not involved in keeping it together. I was hoping to find a video of a teardown or a service manual for this model, but nothing.

They do need to lower the price. For the current price of the EX8000, you can buy a netgear R7800 and use it in AP mode, and not only have USB 3 support, but also eSATA and and read/write speeds nearing 100MB/s.
I tried the R7800 in Repeater mode, suprisingly it did worse than my Dlink 4x4 MU-MIMO Range Extender. It's only good as a Router.
