Netgear HomePlug 500Mbps

Hi,

Does anyone have experience with how the latest Netgear (or Trendnet for that matter) HomePlug adaptors perform when they are on different ring mains / separated by a circuit breaker?

I'm hoping to connect the home server on the second floor to a HTPC on the ground floor. Sockets on the ground are on a different ring to the first and second floors. Will I be safe to stream 1080p?

Different circuit breakers or phases don't matter and haven't mattered for awhile. Current-generation HomePlug devices use both conducted and radiated signals.

Our tests include locations on different breakers and phases.

I've the kit without filtered socket.
I'm getting constant 100Mbps on iperf TCP test between 1st & 2nd floor.
As a comparison, HPAV (200Mbps) adapters (not Netgear) ran 70Mbps constant.
