I currently have a RBK50 setup (stock firmware) with one RBR50 router and two RBS50 satellites, which both connect to the router directly (wireless backhaul). In the past, I sometimes had the issue that one of the satellites would suddenly try to connect to the other one instead of the router, which made its connection significantly worse, so I switched off the corresponding option in the Orbi configuration.
I now want to extend the system with another RBS50 satellite, which will have to connect to one of the existing satellites because it is too far away from the router. However, the stock firmware only has a global setting to either prevent or allow all satellites to connect to each other.
I am wondering if using Voxel's firmware would give me more options here. I would love to explicitly configure which node may connect to which other node(s).
