I've noticed that the "Network Map" page seems to not display all clients. In particular, the "Client status" section on the right of the page seems to not display any clients that have been assigned a static IP address, even if that address was configured on and assigned by the Asus router itself (as compared to having the client itself configured with a static IP address - which I don't have on my LAN).
I'm just guessing here based on what I've seen. Has anyone else seen this, and if so isn't this a bug?
Edit: Actually, I can already see this is not a correct model/explanation for what is going on. I just connected through my router from the WAN to a machine with a static IP address; after this, it was listed in the "Client status" section. I also recall that I rebooted my router. So my next guess is that when the router comes back online it doesn't seek out all devices on the LAN (or all my devices are not replying if there is a broadcast). It's only after interacting with them (or potentially after the IP lease expires) that they are "seen" by the router. Does this make sense?
