Network map not complete

The network map on my ASUS RT-AC66R doesn't show several network devices on my network. Is this a known problem?

Firmware version 3.0.0.4.270.

The networkmap scan isn't instantaneous, and can take quite a few minutes before showing all devices.

Even though the network map refresh starts a background job, in my case some devices are never found regardless of how long you wait for the network map. This is true despite the fact that those devices acquire IP address from the ASUS DHCP server. This issue, alongside some other related issues were discussed on this thread:
