New Around Here
Hi,

I need to buy an AP because my router is 802.11g and it's hidden bellow the tv :)

i'm looking for the d-link 1360 or 1522 as budget solutions, but i can't find any reviews of the 1360.

having external antenas, should i expect a better wireless performance?

btw, the 1522 is a favorite beacause it has gigabit switch with jumbo frames and wireless point.

nevertheless i can also use a good router and transform it into an AP like the linksys E3000.

bellow 100€ would be the target.

if you can give me any suggestion i would appreciate it.

yes, you're absolutely right, but it's there due to many cable connected devices: set top box, tv, blu ray, etc...

nevertheless, the wireless equipment that i want advice for will replace a gigabit switch that i have in a more central spot in my house and it will be the only wireless access point.

that's why the d-link 1522 and the linksys e3000 with dd-wrt are sounding better choices... but i'm open for more advices on the equipment :)
