New Asus AC68U...

I have 4 ethernet connected devices and 10 additional wireless at the moment, all of which are limited to 2.4 GHz except for a Roku3 and 2-AFTV boxes which can use the 5GHz band. In other words, presently nothing to ride on AC.

So far, router has been impressive with no problems. Range of 2.4 outstanding, coming back from a walk I stopped about 100 yards down my street & my phone was hooked up solid with a moderate but functional signal.

I guess I should leave well enough alone but thought I'd ask those of you with on-hand experience with this model if you have any performance enhancing tips worth sharing. Mine is running on defaults other than renaming the 5GHz band to make it identifiable.

Thanks.

What firmware are you running?

If you dont have any issues with latest OEM firmware 376.1663, the stick with it, other wise down grade to one of the older 374.5xx firmwares. Reason to down grade has been discussed in many posts.

Try settings i have posted in my gallery.
