New Around Here
Hi folks,
A few days ago, after a series of power cuts, my trusty old Billion Bipac router decided to commit suicide. By chance (long-ish story) I had an unopened Asus DSL-AC68U kicking around, so I unplugged the Billion, plugged in the ASUS, and was back up and running.
Or so I thought.
I'm now finding that my Plex server, which runs in a Jail on my TrueNAS Core machine, is unreachable from the Plex client on my Fire TV stick.
I can access the UI from my browser, but not from Fire TV stick. I also noticed, when doing a rescan of my Movies folder, that the scan took ages and the thumbnail was broken. When I enter a MoviesDB URL, it fails to download the resource.
Nothing has changed on the Jail.
All of which leads me to believe that something on the new router is blocking the Plex Server. I've tried setting up port forwarding for the Jail's IP but it hasn't made a difference.
Before I give this up and consign the Asus to the bin under the heading of A Bad Purchase - can anybody help me understand what the problem might be?
