New Around Here
Hi all,

just upgraded our fibre broadband from 500mbs to the new 1gig service, which comes with the new Superhub 4. Always used our previous 500 service in modem mode with an ASUS AC88u doing the heavy lifting. Tried to connect the hub 4 in the same manner with a fresh out of the box AX88U (latest Merlin xx.xx18 applied) and can't get the ASUS Â to connect at all, red light on connection LED... in the admin console for the ASUS, it says something along the lines of 'ISP DHCP server is not working properly'... never seen anything like this before when same router was connected to the Superhub 3... there's absolutely not info available as regards setting the Hub 4 in modem mode, so not sure where to go from here... anyone else had this issue?

The Virgin Superhub 4 seems to be working fine in normal router mode however and now using the AX88U as an access point via a homeplu/powerline to connect to the virgin supplied SH4

Any help, would be very gratefully received .. Cheers

To fix the DHCP problem you could try setting WAN > Internet Connection > DHCP query frequency to Continuous.
