Newbye question - Asus ac68 does not see wan

Ragù2012

New Around Here
hello.

I have a question for which I never got an answer. I have a peculiar setup in my home: Internet signal is broadcasted over my little village via a wifi service. I got the rceiver under house roof where a dedicated modem is connected to wan port of a linksys ac6700. From there 4 cables are routed in my house walls to four wall plugs Installed I different locations of my 3 leves house. One cable reach an Asus ac68u router working in router mode (the cable is connected to one of the Asus Ethernet port, not to the wan port). Such one is used as wifi broadcaster in my main appartment. Wifi is fine, what I am not able to do is to tell Asus ac68u that it is connected to Internet. Clearly its wan port is empty (remember, Internet is provided to linksys located in the highest house level). I can connect to Asus wifi fro example and surf the web (I am writing this message from my iPad), but the router itself does not seem to perceive Internet. The issue I got is that I cannot get for example ntp connection for clock set up, or for example connect from outside to a storage that I may want to connect to Asus ac68u usb3 port.

Can some one help me to tweak Asus wrt options.

Bye
