Next gen intel atom synology nas???

Anyone have an idea on when next intel atom processors will be embedded in synology nases? Read somewhere the performance will be substantial and the chips are scheduled to be released by end of year

I would expect Q2 next year, depending on the model.

If you are referring to Berryville Atoms, Thecus has them out now. Performance is lower than D2700.

I've owned an Atom mobo. It was unique when it first came out of Intel. Not good now, IMO.
