NEXTDNS setup questions

Hello all,

I've set up Nextdns on router using Nextdns CLI. Prior to doing so I had assigned the two DNS servers in the WAN DNS settings page in the router. Would the CLI have done that part automatically and if not, is there a reason to remove it in the router and go back to default?

I also installed the Nextdns app on my Windows 11 machine, (prior to using CLI on router) as well as set the preferred DNS in settings.
Is there a reason to do both of those things, install the APP AND set DNS in settings in Windows?
Is there a reason to even have the app and settings installed on Windows machine if I already have it on the router? Should I remove all this from Windows and let the router process it, and will the logs on Nextdns site be any cleaner if I do that? Thanks much for any help.

Sorry, one more thing, I just realized that my router is showing up in the logs as an unidentified device, how do I get it to have an identifier in the logs? I'm also assuming I'll have two logged items for both the Windows 11 machine and my phone, one from the router and one from the app on each device? Thanks again.
