My NIC will not budge from 10 Mbps when it should be 1 Gbps (ASUS P7P55D Motherboard). I've tried everything I know of. Here's a short list...
Still after all of that it is still stuck at 10 Mbps. Other computers, wired and wireless are not affected. Just this one computer. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, it would be much appreciated. I really don't want to buy a separate NIC card...
Here's a screenshot of the issue.
- Updated NIC drivers to the latest
- Uninstalled and reinstalled NIC drivers in safe mode
- Changed the ethernet cable (CAT 5e and CAT 6)
- Tried multiple ports in the router
- Plugged straight into the modem
- Speed & Duplex set to Auto-negotiate also tried 1 Gbps Full Duplex
- Last resort... reinstalled Windows 7 (64-bit)
