Finally got around to sourcing things for ssmtp on github - the main source is in the debian tree, but code works with embedded...

EDIT: I guess I had a downloaded the wrong roots.pem or maybe overwrote by mistake. Ater downloading roots.pem again everything works.

I have read the entire thread and followed many of the recommendations that worked for others. However, after downloading https://pki.google.com/roots.pem, veryfing user/password are correct and enabling "Less secure apps" in gmail security settings I am getting the following error:

Any suggestions?
