Just wondering if anyone can help with my query.

I've recently purchased the AX88U Pro and installed the latest Merlin firmware. I have some servers I use in the chronyd config file and when editing after installation, found it just comes up with the below message. This is the same message before editing as well. It doesn't appear to be connecting to any of the servers, although the NTP graphs look like it is connected to something. I've tried reinstalling etc. Had a search round to see if anyone else has previously had the issue etc. Suspect there may be an issue with the file location or something but can't figure out how to resolve this.

Mar 3 13:45:17 timeserverd: Waiting for NTP to sync before starting...
Mar 3 13:45:17 Admin88Pro: Started timeserverd from .

Is NTPmerlin broke now with the latest firmware or am I missing something?

I believe those are the normal startup messages from ntpMerlin. Since @Jack Yaz gave us the option to use either ntpd or chrony - he “encapsulates” them in timeserverd.

If you have enabled chrony, you can try this command from the CLI to see the time servers chrony is using:

Code:
chronyc sources

Ok, so looking at this the list is there as should be and it is selecting the server. Odd though that the Syslog message shows up as It does. On my previous router (AX86U), it would tell me which server it had connected to in the Syslog. Nonetheless, it works regardless of the optics in the Syslog. Thanks for the speedy reply and help!
