New Around Here
Hello all, new to these forums
So I have a problem, only one PC on my network, my desktop on WiFi is randomly (about every 10-15 seconds) getting 100% PL and 700+ ping. I have tried updating drivers, used 2 different adapters, rebooted PC and router multiple times. Nothing. I have only found one solution, running pingplotter to an IP makes my ping and PL perfectly fine. I shouldnt have to do this. Going on wired is out of the question as the PC is upstairs. My wired desktop and wireless laptop are fine.
Any ideas?

Use a Wireless analyzer to check your wireless channels aren't overlapped and have proper spacing.

Ex:

Wifi Anaylizer (Android)
inSSIDer (PC)

Done that already but my network is the only 5GHZ network around here. Also, the other PC's work fine on 2.4. Tried problem PC on 2.4, same result

Turn the desktop and see if you can get a better signal. Also double check the antenna didn't come loose.

I'm guessing you tested your laptop right next to the PC & it performed fine?

Do you have an alternate wireless card you could test in the PC? Maybe borrow one from somebody?

You didn't tell us what the indicated signal strength is?
