OPENDNS Is Always "waiting for first update" from DNSOMATIC

New Around Here
Hi all.

When router updates DNSOMATIC everything looks good you can see no errors on system log.

But When I log in DNSOMATIC, DYNDNS is updated but OPENDNS status is always "Waiting for first update".

I tried too with "OPENDNS Updater" and everything went ok.

What can I do?

Thanks in advance.

That question is probably best asked to the DNS-o-Matic folks, especially if your DynDNS service with them gets updated correctly.

Thanks for your quick reply. Mine has taken longer because I've been doing some tests.

At end, I managed to install DD-WRT on the router (which does not work as well as your firmware) for testing purposes.

The fact is DNSOMATIC updated from DD-WRT without problems.

Could not indicate that there's a problem when upgrading from asuswrt?

Thanks in advance.

After many attempts. I managed to set it up properly. There was no problem.

The only difficulty was with hostname that should be "all.dnsomatic.com" instead of my own DDNS name

You can close the thread and mark it as solved.

Thank you very much for your interest.
