I have setup an openvpn server on my asus rt-n66u router. The openvpn server is setup to use the tun interface. I have no problem connecting to the router. That works fine.
I have added
route-metric 512
route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
to the openvpn client configuration, because then my network is being recognized as a home-network on the win7 machines.
My problem is that I can’t access any machines share on the asus rt-n66u network clients without disabling the win7 firewall. The same problem also exists on the openvpn client side. I could reconfigure the firewall, but what I want is to be able to access the shares without having to reconfigure all the firewalls. Is there any way to obtain this without using the tap interface?
