Resurrecting this thread... is this possible using OpenVPN in the current release of the firmware? I've just updated most of my major accounts (where supported) to use multifactor auth and it's great so I'd like to extend this to my VPN if possible.

I've read a number of articles such as http://askubuntu.com/questions/301380/how-to-use-google-authenticator-with-openvpn-server-on-ubuntu-12-04 but not sure whether this would apply.

Any comments / help appreciated.

Just wondering if this is still not in your plans.
Would be very nice to be able to add this extra layer of security to home VPN, and would be a very cool addition to your firmware IMHO.

No change. I am even more closed to feature addition now that I was back then, as my job has become increasingly difficult when merging new Asus code into my codebase. Any additional change would make it even harder to do.
