OpenVPN iPhone -> Asus with latest Merlin Release: IP address

I am clueless about networking, but I thought if I set up a VPN connection to my router I go out on the Internet with that routers IP address. My iPhone connects to the router just fine, but when I check the IP address it shows my iPhones IP address on the cellular network (and Pandora won't work in Europe). What am I missing?

Select Yes for the setting "Direct clients to redirect internet traffic" on the advanced server settinds page. That might fix it.

And do have a look into the 2 links contained therein, as well, but ignore creating the certs and keys bit in the second link: magically, it's all done for you in the .ovpn config file.

Selecting Yes - as you suggested - did fix it. And thanks for the link
