OpenVPN not connecting

New Around Here
Hi all I followed this tutorial to setup my ASUS RT-N66U as a VPN server http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/other/security/security-howto/32538-setting-up-and-using-openvpn-on-asus-routers?limitstart=0
but when I try to connect using the exported ovpn file and the OpenVPN client on a Win 7 box I receive this error

Tue Sep 22 11:07:12 2015 OpenVPN 2.3.8 x86_64-w64-mingw32 [SSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [PKCS11] [IPv6] built on Aug 4 2015
Tue Sep 22 11:07:12 2015 library versions: OpenSSL 1.0.1p 9 Jul 2015, LZO 2.08
Enter Management Password:
Tue Sep 22 11:07:13 2015 ******* WARNING *******: null cipher specified, no encryption will be used
Tue Sep 22 11:07:13 2015 Non-Hex, unprintable character (0x00) found at line 2 in key file '[[INLINE]]' (0/128/256 bytes found/min/max)
Tue Sep 22 11:07:13 2015 Exiting due to fatal error

also I'm never prompted for a password ( I've used OpenVPN before and it always prompts for a password )

Can't say for certain but I suspect that your exported ovpn file is corrupt.
