OpenVPN Server unable to establish connection

I use OpenVPN Client by colucci-web.it (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.colucciweb.openvpn) as an Android client -- the free version (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.colucciweb.free.openvpn) supports TUN only, while the paid version adds TAP support (rooting device not required). The app cleanly imports/exports .ovpn config files, and its configuration editor allows you to make changes on the fly without importing a new config file. Support from the developer is unparalleled!

Unfortunately, no. I am not an iPhone user, but I use Viscosity (https://www.sparklabs.com/viscosity/) for both Windows and MacOS.
