other powerline adapter compatibility with D-Link AV2000 Powerline Adapters?

Hi,

I bought a set of D-Link AV 2000 powerline adapters a couple years ago for like $25 shipped. Now I need just one more to run out to my powered shed.

Are other D-Link powerline adapters compatible with these adapters? I believe that D-Link left this space a few years ago as these products are no longer supported but I just want one more powerline adapter so that I can run an outdoor AP to my shed.

Can anyone speak to the compatibility?

Theoretically Homeplug devices from different manufactures are interoperable as they comply with a standard. So provided your new device is "HomePlug AV2" and supports MIMO you should be OK.
