Incorrect. Marketing class number is unrelated to coverage. All home routers and business access points sold in specific region will be limited to maximum allowed transmission power and the "coverage" will be about the same with little differences. In EU region for example ANY router you purchase regardless of marketing class number will be limited to 20dBm* on 2.4GHz and 23dBm on 5GHz non-DFS range. On top - your AX6000 (like many other home AIO routers) has "fake" antennas, part of the marketing as well. The actual antenna inside the long non-functional plastic is about 5cm standard dual-band dipole for $1. This is the reality.

* - this is 10% of what is allowed in US/CA region. When you read reviews - if made in different than your region the information presented doesn't apply to you even if the model of the device is exactly the same. Unfortunately, many people are not aware of this.

Higher class marketing number device doesn’t guarantee better speed or coverage. There are multiple factors in play.

I was specifically referring to price class. I know the number of antennas is bollocks. Mine TUF-AX6000 has a better coverage than previous RT-AX58U, though.

So I went for ZenWiFi BD4 and I'm happy with speeds and coverage, but I have one problem with it. I'll open a new thread for it.
