Just updated to the latest firmware (RT-AC86u).

In parental controls-time scheduling, on the left of the mac address chosen, there's a drop down with three choices:
disable
time
block

What's the difference between disable and block?

 

[L&LD]

Disable - stops any scheduling events for that mac address.

Block - blocks access regardless of the schedule for that mac address.
