New Around Here
Hi Guys,

So i tried to log into my Asus the other day to make some changes and it wasn't accepted my password. I got worried thinking i may have been hacked and reset the device to factory and got it all up and going again.

But then suddenly i couldn't log back into it getting an error my password is wrong. I reset it again and same thing occured.

Is there some sort of bug in the OS? I think the last time i updated my software was December 2013 so fairly recent.

I have tried everything and i find sometimes if i reboot it i can then log in again.

Any ideas?

Make sure you really have the latest (2239). 979 had a known issue where it could lock you out if getting too many unauthenticated connections attempt from a specific IP, where it would blacklist that IP until you rebooted the router.

Thanks,

I have 3.0.0.4.374_797.. I can see there is a beta out should i try it?

I would update at the very least to the 2050 stable build. Feedback on 2239 was fairly positive too, aside from some USB and IPv6 issues some people were experiencing.

Do you know where i can find this?

The firmware versions on the Website and Beta and then the one i have. I am not worried about USB of IPV6 :)
