Peplink Balance ONE

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with the Peplink Balance ONE?

I am looking to replace a Netgear FVS318G with a more capable device that also has some room for future growth.

I have not had any experience with the Balance ONE but I have tried both the surf SOHO and the Balance 30.

According to the log right now on the Balance 30 it has an uptime of 297 days. The reason it isn't more is that the building cut power that weekend. So in terms of reliability it is pretty good.

The feature set though is a tad sparse compared to something like a sophos astaro or pfsense based netgate.

Just wondering. Is there any reason you want the Balance ONE vs the Balance 20 or 30?

I was looking at the Balance One for its 1 gb throughput and features. The demo for the balance One is quite good.

I need the throughput to allow for growth. Right now we have a 100 mbit connection. I would like to have the option of adding a second WAN connection in the future without having to purchase a new router.

The Balance One looks like it can grow with us and handle any increased bandwidth.

Well in this case as long as the feature set is what you need . . . I highly recommend it!
