Per ip rate limit

Hello buddies,

I got an AC68U router with Merlin system, do you know how can I rate limit per ip? I got roughly 100 user son site, all within 10.0.0.024 subnet

You can successfully service 100 simultaneous clients on an AC68U?? I had trouble with 30 (CPU overload) last time I checked about 6 mos ago.

Actually Im just using the PPPoE/routing/VPN function in AC68U, but using Cisco WLC +AP as the wireless connection.

Ah ok, yes not using the wifi does take a load off the main cpu. I know these separate wifi chips are supposed to handle everything but feeding the drivers does put some strain on the main cpu.

Didn't find there is a per ip limitation setting.

It is there, if you have an ac-3200 (not sure about ac68u), but you can also set the rate limit by mac address, which imho, is a better option in case the users ip changes.

100 users is too many for the cpu on an AC68, especially if you use advanced features like QoS. That said, you might be able to eek out something provided the desired bandwidth is low and a bit laggy.
