Per IP traffic on the RT-AC86U

New Around Here
I just purchased a new RT-AC86U without realizing that there was no support for monitoring traffic at the IP level.

Is this something that is being worked on and might be enabled soon? Or, has this new architecture removed the ability for this to be done?

BTW RMerlin, thank you for all the work you put into doing these builds. I'm an embedded RF hardware engineer and can fully appreciate the rarity and value of individuals with skills like you have. People like you who share your talents through projects like this truly help make the world suck less.

Someone would have to rewrite the iptraffic Netfilter module from the ground up, as it relies on kernel structures that are no longer public in Kernel 4.1. So, most likely will never happen.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll just return the RT-AC86U and either keep my aging RT-AC68U or get a RT-AC88U/RT-AC3100. Your traffic meter is too excellent to give up.
