Plugging a printer into 2 usb ports??

I have a canon mp610 multi function printer that i really want to use with my synology ds209 NAS. The only problem is that the 209 doesnt support bi-direction communication so i wouldnt be able to use the scanner.

is there an adapter available that allows a usb to be split in two so one could go into my pc and one into my nas?

I've never used a product like this before. Let us know how it works for you. You just may be better off replacing your multifunction printer for one with network capability.
