It’s ok. It don’t matter. I am getting no help to get a router from any of my friends or family. I’m disabled and can’t afford anything. So I’m done stressing over this. I just won’t have a good router then.

Which router do you currently have? I'm sure at best, we can help you set up something on that and ensure your DHCP is giving out the right DNS to your clients, since it's just you. Setting up the CloudFare for Families that blocks Malware and Adult content would be a good start. It won't have the auditing or logging you want but would be a good start.

Primary DNS: 1.1.1.3
Secondary DNS: 1.0.0.3

I have the Comcast gateway. The x1 I think it is. It won’t let you change dns. It forces you to use theirs.

Ah. Got ya. Yeah, they lock those down. Well, when you do get a new router, revive this thread. I'm sure we can help.

I have the Note 10 Plus and I don’t see a way anywhere to change dns.
You would have to modify the Wifi connection for your home network on your phone from DHCP to Static and then enter the DNS details there. You'll need to choose and IP address that is not in your DHCP pool and specify your router's IP as the gateway etc... then you can manually enter the DNS entries mentioned above.

Ok sheesh. Thanks. I tried something about private dns but I messed up my connection and had to reset network settings as I couldn’t find the private dns setting again to disable. Lol.

Update. I should be getting the Asus GT-AC5300 tomorrow from Amazon.

Got router. Filter seems to work. Hmm. In my note 10 plus when I connected to the ASUS I said use phone Mac not random.

If you can do it with DNS and CloudFare then I would think it could be done with OpneDNS as they were first.

Sorry. I should have given an update. Filter works ok but remote access don’t. I’ve set up the router correctly but remote connection don’t work and I’ve no idea why.
