PPTP vpn to Linksys LRT214. Can't see devices on remote network

I have a Linksys LRT214 router with PPTP server active. I can connect to the router with the Windows VPN client, and once connected, I can log into the router. However, I do not see any of the other devices connected to the router, sush as my Synology NAS, printers, shared drives on other computers. When I open File explorer and select Network, all I see are devices at my location.

I thought this was working a while back, so perhaps Microsoft updated something that is now blocking access? Please help if you can. Thanks
