Problems loading router web page on AC-88U

I'm running Merlin 380.61 on a AC-88U which I set up yesterday. I wasn't having any problems accessing the router's web site on either asus.router.com or its ip address until today. Suddenly while using the web site, it because unresponsive. Pages wouldn't load. I tried multiple browser on my PC, but it wouldn't load.

I tried loading on my iPad and it loaded right up without issue. Same thing on my iPhone. Went back to my PC and it would hang loading. At some point I cleared cookies for asus.router.com and tried again and again it loaded right up and worked for a bit until I click some random page in which case pages time out loading again. Clearing the asus_token cookie gets me back in and usually the page that hung works, but then a different random page will hang. It could hang on a log page, a setting page, basically anything.

Anyone know what's going on here?

Edit:

Now clearing the token isn't working. I tried to go to the last 24 hours traffic log and it just hangs loading.

Try a different browser. For some reason, recent versions of Chrome have problems when accessing the router over https.

It's actually happening in all browsers over http. I don't know why, but for whatever reason the router just stops responding to my PC. I can ping and browse the web, but the web interface just stops responding out of the blue.

Like I mentioned it works fine on my iOS devices.

Then the most likely source is your security software. Eset's security suite is one of those known to cause that kind of problem - you have to whitelist the router's IP.
