Hello,

I presently have a RT-AC87U router. I have had problems with is rebooting. I would like to replace it. I have read many threads and just seem to be a little more confused. At times there are up to 20 connections to the router, smart watches, iPads, roku, tvs etc. I should add that the area coverage of the 87U has been good for our home

I was thinking of purchasing the RT-AC88 or the 5300. Would appreciate any thoughts as I'm not sure of any recent changes that i would have to consider.
